The Language & Dialects of Investment
To converse with nuanace is a skill. It opens doors. Makes connections. It makes us mobile and able to capitalise. Become fluent in speaking investments...
Investment has a language. It’s called accounting.
Its many dialects are the various contexts and scenarios called ‘business operations and models’. Take poultry farming as one. And if you become well-versed and you’ll translate opportunities into profitable deals.
That simple?
I’m afraid so.
The mystery of securing investment deals is as easy as two people agreeing on something.
Yet people can’t agree if they can’t communicate.
Therefore, communication is the key to opening up opportunities. This is a universal truth - including (of course) investments.
Taking a step back, let’s acknowledge that the cornerstone of communication is language.
Defined most simply as a framework for conveying notional meaning and significance that constructs understanding between people.
Or, said another way:
Rules for making thoughts and expressions common.
And in the world, there are many languages. Each with its proper place and context wherein it ought to be expected and used.
Nations have languages.
Cultures have languages.
Pastimes have languages.
Professions have languages.
The professions of business and investing have a language (and as said at the beginning) that language is accounting.
Now, think of business and investing as a game.
It has winners and losers.
And like any game, to win, you have to observe the rules and master them.
Without the rules, you’re in violation and have no chance of competing, much less winning.
The rules define:
What you can do
What you can’t do
And the consequences - for or against
The aim of the game is to master the outcome.
Now, would I be right in saying that mastering the outcome of investments and business (especially regards poultry farming) is along the lines of why you’re reading this?
If so, then the knowledge of accounting is the key…
…or at least so says the man (and his friend) in this video…
…who’s combined business asset value of $1.1 Trillion is reason enough to hear them out for just 3 minutes (watch this):
So there you have it…
…learn the language of financial investments, which is accounting.
And then learn the dialect of the poultry business.
These two comprise the foundation of your future poultry entrepreneurial successes.
…more headed your way.
